The House

Linnels Coach House can sleep 6 people and has cot and highchair available by arrangement. It is set in the grounds of Linnels and  was the staff quarters for the main house and stables. Linnels Coach House was built around 1897 and forms a large part of the Victorian stable block. The stables are still in situ.

The accommodation comprises a well equipped ground floor kitchen, two double and one twin bedroom on the first floor and a large lounge / diner also on the first floor overlooking the grounds. Oil fired central heating throughout.

Wifi, TV and telephone are provided (mobile signal available 200 m away). 

There are delightful river walks through the Linnels grounds with period waterways that once fed the 17th century watermill also within the site.

Kitchen/dining area (east facing)

The kitchen is well equipped and fitted with a ceramic electric 4 ring hob with single oven beneath, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.  There are wall and drawer cabinets which give ample storage. There is a large pine table and benches made from an old ship's mast. There is an entry telephone to the main gates, stone fireplace recess with wood panel surround and mantle and a pleasant aspect with view towards the river. The open staircase leads to the first floor accommodation where five doors lead off to further rooms. The landing passageway has exposed roofing timbers and an attractive window to the western elevation.

Living room/dining room (north and west facing)

Set within the loft the living room has glazed double windows overlooking the gardens to the rear and side and features exposed and painted roof timbers. There is ample comfortable seating together with TV   and sound system. There are games and DVDs for the rainy days or evenings. The granite dining table seats 6 in comfort.

Bedroom one  ( east and south facing)
11’4 x 10’9 (3.45m x 3.28m) 
With period fire surround and lovely view. There is an en-suite shower room with heated towel rail. There is a double bed and wardrobe with drawers.

Bedroom two  (east facing)
10’5 x 10’9 (3.17m 1x 3.27m)
With painted roof beams and conservation roof lights. There is a double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom three (east facing)
10’8 x 9’9 (3.26m x 2.97m)
Twin bedded room with conservation roof light and painted wood beams. There is a set of drawers and a wardrobe.

Bathroom/WC
The bath has a shower above and heated towel rail. This is ensuite to bedroom two and has access from the passageway too.

Parking
There is ample parking adjacent to the property

Gardens
Linnels stands in 13 acres of gardens, grounds, wood, and paddocks and guests may walk and play throughout most of them. Barbeque, garden furniture and outside toys are provided.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome  if kept under control and all poo is picked up and disposed of in the bin provided. Dogs are not permitted in any bedroom and the doors must be kept shut if the dog is upstairs in the lounge.
